Southport Adventures ("we," "us," or "our") is an independent mobile game application for iOS and Android, developed and published under the app identifier com.southport.game. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.

2. Information We Collect
Southport Adventures is designed to be a fully offline game. We collect only the minimum anonymous technical data necessary to keep the app stable and improve the experience:
- Anonymous Analytics Data — via Google Firebase Analytics, we collect anonymous, aggregated usage events (e.g., which screens are viewed, session length, app launches). This data is not linked to your identity.
- Crash Reports — via Google Firebase Crashlytics, we automatically receive anonymous crash logs (device type, OS version, stack trace) when the app unexpectedly closes. This helps us fix bugs. No personal data is included.
- Device Information (anonymous) — operating system version, device model, app version number, and general region (country-level only). This is collected automatically by Firebase and is not personally identifiable.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
We want to be crystal clear. Southport Adventures does not collect:
- Your name, email address, or any contact information
- Your precise location or GPS data
- Photos, camera, or microphone data
- Contacts or address book data
- Payment or financial information (the app is free)
- Account credentials or login information (no account is required)
- Health or fitness data
- Your game save data (stored locally on your device only)
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties. We do not sell your data under any circumstances.

5. Children's Privacy
Southport Adventures is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
The analytics and crash data collected through Firebase is anonymous and does not identify individual users, including children. However, if you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with identifiable information, please contact us at Augustadams@hotmail.com and we will take prompt action.
6. Data Retention
Anonymous analytics and crash report data is retained by Google Firebase for a maximum of 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted in accordance with Firebase's default retention settings.
Your game progress is stored entirely on your local device. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all locally stored game data.
7. Your Rights
Because we do not collect personally identifiable information, most data rights (access, correction, deletion) are not applicable. However:
- Opt-Out of Analytics (iOS): Go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and disable tracking, or use the "Limit Ad Tracking" option.
- Opt-Out of Analytics (Android): Go to Settings → Google → Ads and enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization."

8. Security
Since your game save data is stored locally on your device, its security depends on your device's security settings (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We encourage you to use a screen lock and keep your device's operating system up to date.
The anonymous data transmitted to Firebase is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS encryption.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may notify you through a notice in the app.
Continued use of Southport Adventures after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
